Citizens’ hearing in Gentofte on children and young people

How do we ensure “the good life” for children and young people? The municipal council of Gentofte has asked The Danish Board of Technology Foundation to arrange a citizens’ hearing in accordance with the model which The Danish Board of Technology Foundation has developed and conducted successfully in several municipalities on several different subjects.

Close to 100 citizens participated in the hearing on the 18^th of April 2004 at Gentofte city hall and helped draft a “Citizens’ Catalogue of ideas” for the politicians to use as a source of inspiration when designing the municipality’s policy on children and young people.
