Ms. Mie THOMSEN, female, Msc in Natural Resource Management. Project Manager at DBT with experience in climate adaptation, long-term planning, process development and risk management of flooding from the sea and watercourses. She has developed vulnerability, risk and damage analysis and mapping in GIS under the Floods Directive. She worked 3 years under the Danish Coastal Authority. Experience with capacity building in local communities and municipalities with a focus on citizen and decisionmaker involvement. She is currently involved in the project on the national debate about coastal cities and rising sea levels and a project on developing DAPP maps for Danish municipalities. Previously she has been involved in the Interreg projects FRAMES, FAIR and BWN.
